Celebrate literacy by reading Ladybug Girl and the Bug Squad on Oct 4

As a parent, we know how important literacy is in today’s day and age. Everything stems from reading and comprehending the information read. Why not support Jumpstart’s Read for the Record campaign today by encouraging your children and others to read the book Ladybug Girl and the Girl Squad, by David Soman and Jacky Davis.

You can either get it from your local library, borrow from a friend, or even check out your child’s classroom library. If nothing works, you can always go online and read the book online with your child. I will be reading this book with my daughter on WeGiveBooks.com. They are making it possible for everyone to read this book online for free!

And, after you have read it make sure you get counted in the WORLD RECORD. Just go online and register your reading effort. This year, there goal is to exceed 2011 record of 2.2 million readers!!!

I will be posting my video of reading this book with my daughter online later today. Or you can join us on YouTube.
